Amherst Tigers Booster Club

Our Goals:

The Amherst Tigers Booster Club exists to enhance the athletic experience for all Amherst student-athletes by:

• Promoting Amherst Athletics and highlighting the dedication, achievements, and opportunities within all of our athletic programs.

• Building a strong OneTiger community where athletes support one another, and families, coaches, alumni, and community members come together to support Amherst Athletics.

• Improving communication and engagement by keeping our community informed and creating meaningful opportunities for families and supporters to get involved.

• Recognizing and celebrating our student-athletes by highlighting their hard work, accomplishments, teamwork, and experiences both on and off the field.

• Providing additional resources through fundraising and community partnerships to support special projects and enhance opportunities for our teams and athletes.

What We Do:

Through the support of our families, volunteers, and community partners, the Boosters help make a difference by:

Supporting Teams & Athletic Programs

Providing resources and funding opportunities that help teams enhance their programs beyond what is provided through their budgets. Examples include team grants for items such as the cross-country tent, tennis clinics, out-of-town basketball tournaments, swim timing equipment, and many other team requests.

Recognizing Student-Athletes

Celebrating our athletes through recognition programs, including graduation cords, senior celebrations, and opportunities to highlight achievements throughout the year.

Enhancing the Athletic Experience

Funding special projects that improve facilities, promote school spirit, and create a better experience for athletes, families, and fans. Recent projects include:

• Middle School tennis screens

• Football stadium and swimming pool speaker systems

• Graphics and branding throughout the wrestling room, athletic complex, and outside the South Gym

Creating Community & Connection

Bringing athletes, families, coaches, alumni, and community members together through events, volunteer opportunities, and traditions that build a stronger OneTiger community.
